Bio based and Applied Economics is an international academic journal dedicated to the field of bioeconomy, providing a forum for showcasing and discussing applied research in the biobased sector and its related policies. This journal aims to provide academic sources for theoretical and applied research, while maintaining broad accessibility so that non researchers can also understand evidence-based decision-making and policy-making.
The research focus of the journal includes economics, ecology, consumer research, regional economics, innovation and development economics of the bioeconomy industry. In addition, the journal also pays special attention to cross departmental, recent, and emerging topics related to integrated management of biological resources, biological industries, and rural sustainable development.
