那東西，長五寸，寬三寸，不重，摸一下它，手上濕漉漉的，它身上是綠的，如絨一般柔的綠毛。它的頭從肚子里伸出來時特別可愛，兩只小如綠豆般的眼直勾勾地看著我，很快又縮回到肚里。

它就是綠毛龜。

據我了解，綠毛龜是中國的瑰寶，和白玉龜，二頭龜，蛇形龜合稱為四大奇龜。漢唐時，盛行養龜，許多文獻對綠毛龜有祥盡的記載。在唐朝，綠毛龜被列為宮廷里的五大寶物之一。

我第一眼見到綠毛龜時就對它一見鐘情，而這只綠毛龜從此也成了我們一家大小的寵物。

我用了一個非常大的玻璃缸為它布置了一個美麗的家。當它舒適自在地游來游去時，碧綠如翡翠的毛好似被微風吹拂著的頭發，溫柔地在清澈透亮的水里飄散著，那姿態，有說不出的高雅。我給它取了一個名字，叫“勝龜”。

一般的龜是食素的，而綠毛龜卻是食葷的。它吃蝦，吃魚，不過食量不大。把魚和蝦丟進缸里時，它先用口銜著，然后用手捧著食物，一口一口，咬，嚼，吞，津津有味地吃著，它那樣子好像在品嘗美味佳肴。我喜歡看它的吃相，每一天傍晚，我都坐在玻璃缸前，喂，看，笑。

每次上學時，我絕不會忘記和它道別；下午放學回來后，又向它打招呼；平時我有事沒事總在玻璃缸前，親昵地喊“勝龜”，“勝龜！”

說也奇怪，喊得時間長了，它居然會“回應”——不是用語言，而是用行動。我一喊“勝龜”，它便浮游上來，把頭伸出水面，張望。起初，我以為是偶然的，然而后來，次次如此，我便知道，這龜的確是有靈性的。有時它會把頭伸出水面來，輕輕抿著嘴，仿佛在微笑，兩顆圓圓的眼珠子，也綻出柔和的亮光。

聽了他們的抗議，我實在忍不住了，反駁道：“我們這樣也是為了生存啊！而且現在我們人類已經在彌補自己所做的錯事了！我們也在為魚兒發明‘凈水器’??！還在為鳥兒搭窩??！”

“哼！你們為我們發明‘凈水器’？那是因為你們發現大自然在報復你們了！你們這完完全全是為了自己！而且，你們發明‘凈水器’難道就不會有廢水排進我們的家園了嗎？”魚兒厲聲說道。

“這……這……”我無話可說。

“好了，無話可說了吧？動物們接著說！罵他個狗血淋頭！”獅子說道。

哎，沒辦法，誰叫我遇見這事呢？只得聽他們說。當然，動物們決不會放過這次機會的。

小鳥說：“你們太可惡了，殺了我的親人不說，還亂砍樹木，讓我們沒地方搭窩了！只得四海為家，倒數漂泊。我的有些親人又冷又渴又餓都冷死、餓死了！這都是你們的錯！”

這時，沉思許久的獅子大王發話：“是該給他們懲罰了！這樣吧！我們請與妹妹來幫忙，引來一次洪水，反正人類亂砍亂伐，也沒有多少樹木了，讓洪水沖毀地球吧！”

獅子大王說完，便準備請雨妹妹，我趕忙說：“不，不要，我們一定不會在傷害你們了，我發誓！我們會多植樹，不會把污水排進河流了，不再亂扔垃圾了！不要??！”
